Idle Banter For non SV and non bike related chat (and the odd bit of humour - but if any post isn't suitable it'll get deleted real quick).
There's also a "U" rating so please respect this. Newbies can also say "hello" here too.

Default Newbie saying hello

Hi!

Long-time lurker, first-time poster, based in SE London.

I've just picked up my shiny new black K8 SV today, having passed my DAS on Wednesday. I love it already - even though I'm taking it really easy for the running in period (which applies to wet-behind-the-ears me as much as the bike!).

My god, it's been an intense week of riding.... my hands are little more than claws at the moment!

Hopefully I'll be getting to meet some of you on rides out and stuff in the future!

Keep off the grass, don't feed the animals and keep your fingers out of the cages!

Beware of Hovis and don't trust anything Bear says.

Welcome to the funny farm!
