Default VFR400 rear wheels

Hi orgers, I have noticed that a few of us on here also own VFR's and I was wondering about rear wheel fitments. I have an nc24 on a 91 H plate and was wondering whether a 750/800 wheel would fit as the original wheel runs a 130/70 18 tyre, which are lacking in choice of tyre and also look cack. The wheel is the 4 bolt fitment and I was wondering if the 750 wheel bolts straight on. I have yet to measure for tyre clearances but just wondered if there are more complicated issues that I might not have considered. I am thinking 150 or 160 section tyres, I know the nc30 runs 150 but these are the single bolt wheels that are no good for my bike.

I can't answer the question but;

The rim size may be a more important factor to consider, will there be enough clearence between the 750/800 rim and the 400's swingram/chain? The same to be considered with a tyre when fitted also.

Yeah figured that might be an issue, just wondered if there was anything else stopping it from happening. Could always get an angle grinder to the swingarm lol.

Just spotted alpinestarhero on there asking if a 17" front will go in.
