Sad that we consider a quid and tuppence per litre litre cheap. I wonder if I'll ever see the day that the litres roll round faster than the pounds again. Doubt it.

dig it out the oil beds...ship it.. crack it.. send it to pumps and in the car for not much more than milk... thank our lucky stars its not £5 a litre... (yet)

the way the price of a barrel of oil has plummeted it should be a lot cheaper than it is , but they wont pass the prices on they just make another few billion extra profit- 0h i wish i was a oil mogul

I've thought this. There's less oil left in the world than coca cola, yet we still pay less per litre for petrol than that 'orrible brown sticky stuff.
