ive got the hyperpro setup on the rear, fully adjustable rebound etc, its awesom in my opinion well worth the money.

i would save your money and pay the extra for the full shock with the spring. believe me you will be impressed.

i rode my mates sv thats stock and theres no comparission at all!

quite a bit more for the full shock, have u been able to get a feel of the 36 shock or the gixxer 600 shock if so wat sort of comparison does it give?

Also your mate with the full shock is that the only mod hed done to the suspension or had he redone the front as well?

If you are talking about the rear spring only then it is not worth getting, it is the whole rear shock on a Curvy which lets it down.

Think I paid £60 for a ZX10R shock and that fit my bike with very minimal fuss (just cut some plastic out of the battery box for clearance). Very nice improvement to the handling. I also reccomend doing the front end too; it's as bad, if not worse, than the rear shock.
