Default High level can advice required.

Can any one shed any light onto this subject please?

I would like to bin my rear pegs and have a high level exhaust. I currently run a CCC race can...

What do I need, and where from???

Any help appreciated.

First thing to do is speak to CCC, see if you can buy the link pipe off of them individually.

If not have a look on Ebay, most of the budget UK exhausts actually have the same inlet diameter so one from another manufacturer will most likely work.

A point to remember is that some high level cans differ in size to a low level one, so will stick out more at the rear. Worth checking.

Do you really want to bin the pegs? You can just space them out you know, couple of inch or so long pieces of steel tubing does the trick, thats what my renegades have.

Do you have a rear seat cowl? Because if you have a rear seat you need rear pegs or it's an MOT fail.

Thats a new one on me, my bikes have had a few strict MOT's with no pillion pegs attached and a pillion seat fitted (easier to bungee onto a pillion seat than a cowl) and I have never had this issue.

Liz has a remus high level can on her SV, which ditches the pillion pegs...

But I think Dangerous Dave is right, talk to CCC about getting another link pipe as that'll be the cheapest option.

sounds a load of old cobblers to me. never had any rear pegs with mine.

an old pic of mine, its not changed much, occasionally I have a seat cowl on it, but only in the last 6 months

this can was originally a lot longer but the previous owner chopped it to suit. Apparrently it stuck out a mile on the first attempt at this level
