Question Light Bulbs

Might seem a daft question and sorry if it does but is it in my imagination or can you buy 100W light bulbs??

Yesterday I went to Sainsbury`s to get some.... none there and was told they don`t do them. I then went to Tesco`s and there was none there so today I went to Asda and none there either! the sales assistant said oh I don`t think they make them 60W is the strongest you can buy for a house light fitting. Is that right cos I`m sure i`ve bought them in the past

Yes, common house hold bayonet type come in 100w, 75w, 60w, 40w and 25w.

Try a DIY shop, they will have a larger range of bulbs.
