Dell
Anyone work for them?
The gf's laptop has just bought it (failed battery and charger). Whilst it's 2 months out of warranty, I'm not going to settle for that. A quick google came up with thousands of identical problems, and it turns out to be a design flaw (even on this forum http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.p...highlight=dell ) Or anyone know the 'local' number for them? I'm not willing to pay £20 to speak to India. Berlin - you ever get your problem sorted? Cheers, Rob. |

You can get a battery for £28.46 from here. I keep meaning to get one 'cos my 6400 battery is fubar too.

Just tried 'Just say no to 0870' and several numbers for Dell. Just search for an alternative number by typing Dell in the company name.
Trouble is these companies get wish to this and shut down these lines, so you may have to try a few. http://www.saynoto0870.com/

I cant stand dell. I bought a laptop from them that never arrived on time, without contacting me that it was going to be 3 weeks overdue. Got a refund and bought something else. I hope they go out of business, but i reckon half of india would be made redundant.
