Restrictor and another question

So as we all know from another thread about me getting my bike restricted, well friday thankfully came today, i took my bike over, all was going well till 11:30 when i get that phone call...

"Hi Ben, we've taken your bike apart ready to fit the restrictor annd got a problem."

"whats that?"

"they sent the wrong restrictor, we recieved one for a 03 onwards"

so just when i thought i could finally ride my bike, this happens but hopefully they will recieve the right restrictor tomorrow and then i'll be on my way

also another quick question does anyone know how far you can travel when the petrol light comes on before you come to a stop?

It all depends on how much throttle you use!!

Depends how much work the engine is doing, and which gear you're in.

If you're doing a steady 60 in top gear you'll go for miles. If you're blasting up mountain roads in second and third you'd better hope there's a petrol station at the top.

Ahhh bloody hell thats a dissapointment. So you got the ECU? Should have done your research!

yeah they got the ecu, thing is they ordered the right part but just got sent the wrong one. they've got the right one now just trying to find some time to fit it.

I thought it was the same restricted ECU for all pointies...

Same.... im slightly worried now because i already have a restrictor ready for whatever pointy i buy...

The ECU for K3-K6 bikes is the same, but the plug changes from K7 onwards.
