If the water in your area is quite soft then it should be OK, if not go get some distilled water.

Hi,
Your probably better of using distilled or deionised water. usually 50p or so for a litre from a petrol garage forecourt.

I've got some ready mixed putoline coolant which shouldn't need water should it? But it says to use mobil antifreeze.. Would it make a massive difference? Or would it be dangerous?

What colour is the solution in it now?
Generally speaking if the putoline you have to hand is greeny blue I'd guess it'd be ok.

should be aight.

Dunno wait for someone else though, I wouldn't want sludge in the cooling system of my 675!

Safe bet would be distilled water or tap water seeing as it's summer (kinda)
