have a search through, there's ton's of opinions and different advice here somewhere. i really liked the white power progressive springs and 20W oil that I put on my curvy. still hasn't stopped me tinkering to get a set of gsxr forks on in the near future tho.

How hard are you pushing it in the bends? How much do you weigh?
People including me have stiffened up the suspension and it has helped although I think I did a bit too much to mine so went for 15W fork oil and slackened off the emulators a bit. This has helped in as much as high speed rides are really nice but it is still bumpy low speed (solution...always ride hard) Anywhoooo....Progressive springs seems to be the easiest and cheapest fix. That is what I 'fink' ![]()

i only weight 10 and half stone. its fine on a nomal ride out but soon as start to go for it the front end deos'nt like it at all its in the tight bends i notice it most. might have to look into some new springs if just hardening it up does'nt work.

I'm 12 stone. Hagon progressives with their prescribed 5w oil.
I have had a zip tie around the fork leg since doing them a while back and that includes one track day and I still have about 25mm of stanchion left before the bottom of the yoke. Big improvement over 6 year old fork oil and standard springs. I don't class myself as a 'hard' rider though..... |

I believe the bike is sprung for someone your weight anyways. Maybe try replacing the oil for 15W for now and see how you get on with that?
What do you feel like it is doing in the tight bends?

Have K1 curvy, had stock front end until Sunday, changed for progressive springs & 15w oil, huge difference, used to dive under breaking so much was getting scrapes on my nose.( But I have eaten all the pies before though, so stock was being asked to do a lot of work!)
Went out after the change & can push it much more, easily better into & through the corners, much more confidence building. |

I've got a set of hagon progressives along with 20w oil in my front. I weigh about 10.5st, and it's fantastic. No diving under breaking, the front-end doesn't skitter or try to wash out under hard cornering, and the bike feels very planted. It's a moderately hard ride with 20w, but not uncomfortably so.
