Default Sticking Grips on

What do folks use to stick the left hand grip on with? I'd never thought about it until i started building my front end up.

I bodged it with some normal glue from a tube, some silicone and some of that scottoiler superglue.. seems stuck on there well enough

I've always just used superglue for my Hotgrips but they free off occasionally (not fun on the M1 during rush hour )

Always wondered if there was a higher temperature alternative?

Hairspray.

No...seriously, hairspray. Spray on the inside of the grip, helps it slide on then sets hard enough to stop the grip twisting.

Used it when I put my Symtec grip heaters on and also used it recently when I renewed my lhs grip.

araldite. Stays liquid-ish for ages so plenty of time to mess about, then leave overnight until its dry. Just hope you never have to take the grips off again

+1 on this, cheap and very effective. Grips can be removed with a squirt of WD40 rather than the hard setting glues like superglue & araldite.

I used a spray called GT85 on my pushbikes. I was a bit paranoid about using that on my motorbike though.

Hairspray it is then!!

grip glue is evostick contact adhesive.... spread it thinly on the bar and inside the grip let dry, squeeze on and heat up with hair drier...

sounds like a nightmare if the grip is tight. Contact adhesive is very very sticky.
