In Aviemore, go to Roo's for grub, we had a great feed the last time. For those who haven't eaten for a week I recommend the BOB.

Cheers

Heya DT. Here you go....my tuppence!

Broadford - Choice of two that I'd seek out myself.
The Claymore - friendly, not too crowded usually. Have not had a meal there for a while but any time I did was good grub at fair prices. Bands in some fri/sat nights.
Broadford Hotel - has two bars, restaurant one serving excellent meals, the other quite popular with locals for a bevvy at the wkend when they often get bands in. Various rocky/folky stuff.

I think you guys are staying at one of the biker B&B's in Broadord, right? I'm sure either one, Richard or Peter will advise more when you get there.

Ullapool - well, just back from there!
The Seaforth is where we went this time - Lunch rather than dinner, I think everyone had a good meal. Didn't really sample the beverage on Sunday, sorry. Silly i know!
Have had folk type bands in for the evenings when I've been before.

The one just up the hill from it (The Caledonian, maybe?), is a good pub too. Think there was a long wait for grub tho....could have been a one-off.

Aviemore -
Have eaten at Roo's Leap quite a few times (twice with the .Org), you wont go hungry!
Mambo'sis quite a popular bar, bands in regularly.

Oban - Sorry, did an all-inclusive pub crawl many years ago. Can't remember much at all! Think we got to 17 establishments and then...
Had a really nice meal at Ee-usk, down on the pier last time there. Bear in mind, thats the phonetic version of 'iasg', Gaelic for fish. There was other stuff on the menu tho.

HTH mate. Slainte mhor!

I wasnt going to embarrass you by bringing it up. Some had a 'greater' feed than others, lol.

The one right by the supermarket? That's the Crowlin. It's good for the craic, beers and music but not somewhere I've eaten.
