Default Brake Line/Pads Options

The time has come to upgrade the standard brake lines on the SV ...afaik they have been on there for 8 years. Starting to feel a little like sponge! My plan is for braided hoses, new pads and obviously fluid to get some more feel and more bite (hopefully!)

I am a little confused as to the options I have with braided hoses, 2 line kits, 3line kits etc. I am wanting to do both front and rear though front will get done first and rear can wait as that's not urgent.

There seems to be various options for pads aswell. Which are best for road use? HH sintered?

Thanks for the help guys!

2 line kit is race set up so they say, 2 lines from the master cyclinder one to each caliper, norm your best bet, if they are 8 years old then defo replace the rear as well.

Caliper seals ever been done? if not id replace them tbh.

And yea HH sintered will do the trick, i use them on the front but normal ebc's on the rear.

I guess they have never been done. i would give my brakes an overhaul but will be pushed for time this weekend so just want to do lines, pads and fluid!

Pads:- http://www.busters-accessories.co.uk...++++Left+99-02

and

left and right^

Brake lines - am I looking a at a two line over the mudguard setup then? So that would be one line from the MC and then going over the mudguard?

I just want full clarification before I go buying stuff as I need me bike on the road

Thanks guys

No 2 lines from the MC for the race set up, a double banjo is used and then you take one line down the rhs to the cliper (pref one nearest the mc and the banjo) the the other down the lhs side to the caliper
