only thing I know is you need to put them on the front and back otherwise the resister gets confused and you end up with orange flashin caos.

When i had LED indys on my old bike i didnt fi a restrictor as i find that fast movement catches the eye more. I even had a courier or 2 in london catch up with me and ask about them as they were so noticable. As long as the flash rate is below 90 flashes per minute (i think that the right number) then you're legal. Most people just assume their indys must flash like everyone elses but thats not the case.
Anyway....Without the resistor its a simple case of cutting the wirse in an appropriate places if they have no connectors and joiinging the new wires on. I'd suggest soldeing the new wires in place if you can so they dont get shook apart during rides but saying that i never did, i just kinda twisted the bare wires togther and wrapped them in electrical tape very, very tightly ![]()

Legal requirement is 60 - 120 flashes per minute.
Fitting: Bolt them on, wire them up. Note polarity - LEDs won't work wired back to front. Curvy: Negative is black/white, left indicator positive black, right indicator positive light green. Pointy: Neg black/white, left indicator pos. black, right indicator pos. brown OP mentions relay, if that's so then see this thread.
