IMO he's achieved nothing of any importance yet - N Korea & Iran are both continuing with their nuclear programs - yes, they may be talking but no resolution has been found. All he has achieved as far as Israel & the Palestinians are conconcerned is to manage to get the respective leaders together for a photo !!
But, most ironic of all is the fact that the day it is announced that he is the winner of the Nobel Peace prize, he faces the world's media to day how humbled & honoured he is etc, etc - then goes back into the White House to chair a meeting to discuss the war in Afghanistan !! One further thing I'd like to point out here - from what I understand the clsoing dates for nominations for the 2009 Pece Prize was Feb 1st - so he'd been in office for exactly 11 days when someone put his name forward !!

As per some other stuff I read... may as well give it to Miss World every year, she also wants world peace etc makes a big statement but nothing ever changes...
