Default Wider Rear Wheel

Hi,

I much prefer form over function, so I was wondering, is there anyway of fitting a wider rear tyre/rear wheel to a '06 SV650? I was hoping to go from 160mm to 180mm wide

Thanks

EDIT: To ellaborate a little. Spacers and a rear wheel from a Bandit 1200. It may not be very cost effective

I understand it can also effect the handling.......based on what I have read from other posts on the subject.

Well thats down to personal preference. It seemed to aid things for me really. I did have GSXR forks and a raised rear on it also. And a 120/70.

Swing arm change? Gixxer?

I have no idea, just throwing that out there.

Maybe Gixxer front and rear end (but then why not just get a Gixxer I suppose)??

Yeah, but then you join all the other Gixxer riders. Why not be a little different on an SV?
