Default Accessories and part exchange.

I am hopefully going to be trading my SV in for something a little saucier this weekend or next and am wondering what to do about the extras I have accrued on my bike.

I have a gel seat and a Beowulf exhaust and my dad is saying that they will add nothing to the price offered to me by the dealership so I would be better off, sticking my old can (Beowulf do a coupler or something that will allow this) and seat back on and selling my bits on Ebay.

Is this worth my while? I want to save money obviously, but if the dealership is likely to offer me a few quid extra for these parts then i'm likely to go the lazy route and not bother.

-Peace

I agree with your dad too, those seats are flipping expensive too. Would have thought it'd get snapped up on here.

Dealer will probably prefer the bike as standard as possible, and then sell the items separately ....

If the price is right I'd be interested in a pointy gel seat.

dealers want standard bikes, the mods might even devalue your bike in a dealers eyes.
