My jack up plates have arrived from banditmania, but this time they have come with a set of pre-load spacers. I ordered these for my old pointy and they as plates only. My question is what are they for, and do I need them?
Are they to replace the spacer that sits inside the fork just under the fork cap and above the spring? Guess I am getting confused because I never got one last time. |

Anyone know why you would tweak the suspension spacers if you jack up the rear end????

More weight on forks so more preload needed to resist extra weight im guessing. when jaking up mine i serviced forks and used a hevier weight oil 20wt i think. Hope this helps, Matt

Why not just phone John or Sarah at Banditmania & ask them ?

more weight on the front because of the jacked rear, so they add preload so you can get the static sag nearer what it should be
