Default theft from bike

i forgot to take the satnav mount off the bike when i got home last night.. i also forgot to chain and disc lock the bike. so i spose in a way that only the satnav mount was removed from the bike and not the bike itself is ok..

still rather worrying that someone (read thieving scum bag bstrd scroute) has been nosing around my bike ..

lesson learnt.. bike now locked up

not a good buzz.

a couple of weeks ago I had someone steal the cover of my bike. rotter.
i sat at home and mullered over it. after a while i decided to take a spin in the car to see if i could see it around. figured someone must be local as you need to know where the bike parking is etc.
low and behold first street i drive down there it is sitting on a moped.
better still driver of said moped is walking up the stairs to his apartment.
needless to say i took some photos and my cover.
didn't want to do anything else as I was selling my bike a few days later

so ya I know where the thief lives and what he drives....

i wouldn't though... karma and all that. mind you i fell off my bike on thursday so maybe i need to balance the books

by the way i took my cover back at 11pm and by 6am there was another cover on the bike! stolen i presume

Keep it well locked Mrs Babe. My mate just had his curvy stolen from a locked garage behind high gates in Offerton. His house is off the beaten track in a cul-d-sac so no casual passers by etc. He thinks it was targeted by fairly slilled scrotes because they never set the alarm off and he knows it was working correctly.

They may be working the area.

from a locked garage... clearly the scrotes took the off the beaten track to their advantage....

assuming the bike hasnt been recovered..

No it hasn't been recovered. The 'silver lining' is that he's been to view a POINTY this weekend. Identical to yours.
