Default Tank pad removal....

Easiest way to do it, suggestions please.....

warm it up with a hair dryer, peal it off. wash it then polish the remainder off.

or you could do what i did and pour petrol all over it and leave it to sit for a day

Angle grinder... you won't have much fuel tank left and your bike might well catch fire from the sparks, but the tankpad will definitely be gone for good.

You can thank me for this worthless advice by buying me a pint when we next meet
