Battery?
They can just go, ive been on a rideout with someone whose bike had been fine, stopped for a bit then wouldnt start, it was the battery. |

Also check the clutch switch: 2 wires that go into the clutch lever underneath. Not having them connected can stop the bike from starting.
If it's making a noise at the starter motor it's possibly the battery, if not it's possibly the clutch switch. Look for the wires first as it's an easier fix, if not then charge the battery/jump it from another engine and see how you get on. |

If you hear starter move at all, or even just a clicking noise, that'll be a discharged battery. Check charging system.
If nothing at all happens when you press the button, check connections to starter button, clutch switch, sidestand switch etc. |

I went down all of the routes posted...... turned out to be the META alarm/immobilser up the duff. It's being removed tomorrow. I tried the reg/ret, the stator, the starter motor, the battery..........ends up the bloody immobi!
Good luck.....it's a common fault PS that's just my experience |

does sound like the battery, take it to halfrauds or ur local bike shop and gt it bench tested.
Had similar issue, beginin of the yr, reg rec powered up starter nothing.

Why? Neither of these can prevent the bike from starting.
Immobilisers are reliable - bodged wiring isn't.
