Default Plenty of notice

Well tonight the wife was caught, organising a little local drinky for me on accord of it being a significant number next year. OK I nearly admitted it the other day in saying Ed is younger than me. But next summer I hit the big five oooooooohhhhhhh.

So the wife has now started conspiring with others. A room has been booked with ale at member prices (Ritchie you remember where we crawled out of at stupid o' clock)

You all have an invite, I prefer friends to family anyway. 24th July 2010. St Bede's club Clayton-le-woods.

Firstly the manager has just traded in her R1 for as ZX6R. Her husband is a slow sod on an R6. So put it this way, bikers are not a problem.

Unfortunately, I am unable to offer accommodation beyond. Pitch a tent on my back lawn. There is a travel lodge about 300 yards from the venue and 350 yards from my house. What I can offer is secure bike parking if required and a quality bacon/egg butty for breakfast..

so why show your **** in gods own country. Well the **** up is Saturday night. I know I cannot be counted on for arranging a good ride out. But if you have the where with all to arrange the sun. I know where to put a smile on faces (North Yorkshire impending penalties aside) . and whilst we are out the wife knows how to entertain the consumer minority. AKA the WAGs.

Purpose of this post. simples.

I can book rooms in the local travel lodge well in advance and get discount. If I get an indication in the next couple of months of those who would want to buy a room for the night whilst I am humiliated. I should be able to buy discount advanced etc.

so if anyone is more a real than virtual friend please be the wife's guest. After all I know nothing.

FFS sake lad, a taxi home would be cheaper than a room for you. Unless of course you intend to use an excess of alcohol as an excuse for extreme married naughtiness.

Tim, you don't look a day over 30. . .

Plenty of notice indeed and if I remain free on the day, I shall come and share in your celebrations.
