Default wasps nests.

Anyone know how to get rid of wasps? It's a small hole in a stone wall infested by wasps outside my house. I don't know how many wasps are in it but there are always a few hovering in and out the hole.

It's a small hole so I was thinking of simply sealing the hole up but I don't know if this would be dangerous, as in would I get attacked by the wasps by the ones on the outside.

Never had to deal with a nest before.

Fyll leathers, lid, thick scarf, gloves boots, a lighter and a can of WD40, but dont let the RSPCA see ya or they will ask for the death scentence against you for Genocide against wasps as vermin have more rights than humans do!

If the other side of the wall is not someones property I'd just full leathers it and block the hole with something. Expanding foam, quick drying filler, etc

If its one of your houses external walls then you might want to get a pro to have a look as if you just block it up and they are nesting inside your walls you could end up with a house full of really ****ed off wasps.

Assuming that you know what is on the other side of the wall, and its ok, Burn the buggers.

More sensibly you can buy cans of wasp nest killer, not nearly as fun though.

It's on neighbours house wall, terrace row of houses. Were trying to figure out best method between us. Burnings out as may set fire to the whole row.

Will get a can of wasp killer then.

Thanks

Proper wasp killer stuff, or ant powder, that works too. Apply at sundown when they have all gone to bed.

Try your local council Environmental Health Department to see if they do a free pest removal service, some do and some dont.

Ask Yorkie Chris - he dealt with some in a hedge last year.

thats what i was going to say - normally the charges are cheaper than getting somebody in and they should guarantee the work
