Default More Bike Theft news in York

Unhappy ending, but you can't help thinking that it is some sort of devine retribution.

I'd just like to point out that the article states that the motorcyle he was riding was stolen - NOT that he was a bike thief.

Whilst the chances are he did steal it - the possibility also exists that he bought the bike 'in good faith' from the scumbag who did steal it.

Just my 2p worth

I wasn't making any assumptions, but to be honest even if he did buy it, there is a very real change he knew it was stolen. i.e cash only, no V5, locks shagged etc etc.

I was trying to highlight we have a problem in York, with Bikes getting stolen at this moment in time. There seems to be loads going missing.

Another friend of mine had her bike taken from the back of Yates where she works, 2 days ago. That's the 4th I know about. It was caught on CCTV as well, and looks like 16 year old kids.

Good point, would have to be quick off the mark when they pull up with the van. Or risk letting them get it in the van, open can of whup ass then head to the track in your new trackday vehicle.
