Just been reading the Minitwin rules and regs in prep for next year.
The part about the split of the front brake line above the bottom yoke has me thinking, can I run two long brake line straight from the leaver to each caliper or do I have to use the standard splitter from the original brake system? If I use the two lines from the top then the slit is above the bottom yoke or does it not work like that? |

Hello there,
when you order a set of race hoses, basically what you get is two long hoses and a long banjo bolt that bolts both hoses onto the master cylinder and then two standard banjo bolts to bolt hoses onto calipers. It sounded a bit daft to me when I first came across it cos in my experience it dont matter where you get a hole in a hydraulic system you'll lose fluid and pressure. If you need any other advice about regs etc let me know-I put my own bike together for my first season this time last year-it seems a bit daunting-but it's not that bad-honest!! TC 252 |

The hose setup you want is the "race" setup, 2 lines direct from master to each caliper.
