Default Help please... Outlook problem

Hey..

when using Microsoft outlook, my incoming mail is delievered to folders in my cabinet rather than into my inbox. I have checked the send/recieve settings and the nominated location for incoming mail is set to the inbox but doesnt seem to go there.

Can anyone help with this? cus i dont know what else to check

Well you've done what I would have done. Without having it in front of me it's going to be tricky to fix. I take it you've tried googling the problem and see what it comes back with.

not much really, just people talking about the settings being wrong. I know it has got to be a setting somewhere but cant think of a different one that might over ride the send/recieve setting. Have run a diagnositic to see if it will throw anything up

but if i am honest i am a bit stumped

its weird tho, some mail goes into one folder and other mail goes into a different one, there are no rules set or anything tho

If all else fails just make a note of your connection settings if you don't have them anyway and delete/recreate the outlook profile.. fixes most weird outlook issues if its not being caused by rules
