Default Advice required, Tow bar fitted, now Battery Flat

I had a towbar fitted on Friday with standard single electrics. Now this was done by a proper company rather than by myself so its not something i have done.

The problem is when i came to start the car this morning, nothing, flat as a pancake. Now this issue is only down to the fact the tow bar has been fitted.

Any one know what the issue could be, or had this happen to them with tow bar fitting.

The only thing i could think of was the fact i have the lights set to automatic, so maybe having that circuit open ready with the new wiring has caused a current drain somewhere?

I called the company and they said they will come out and re check the work, but in the mean time anyone have any ideas what could have caused this?

Oh BTW its a 2005 (mk 2) 2.0L TDCI ford focus.

Cheers.

loose battery connection would be the first port of call.
Then the engine fuse tray

Some towbar electric modules are powered from the cigarette lighter socket in the boot, maybe yours is always on rather than ignition switched (if it's anything like that at all). Can't see the drain flattening the batt though.
