It's to be used in conjunction with a noisy can, better air filter, and a dyno. It'll be a selection of jets and other bits for the tuner to help optimise the carburetion more easily. It's not a bolt-on extra really. Doa search on here for tuning info, there's bucketloads. For a curvy, you really want the cam swap for VFM

Value for money. Yep K3 cams on intake, and curvy intake cams swapped to the exhaust side. New jets without dyno work are useless, it's shooting in the dark. For the proper job you need a decent air filter (seem to be many opinions on these though) and get it on a dyno to have it set up. Adding the hot cams in this case won't need any rejetting, bit odd but that's the way it is. They don't cost a lot, around £150 I think, and if you fit yourself it's not too hard. The K3 intakes are already marked up the same, you just have to be careful setting the exhuast cam timing cos there aren't any useful marks on it.

I have the Cam swap and a full Akra system and its showing symptoms of lean running after the cam swap(banging on the overrun, dynoman says that lean as it burns the fuel slower, I thought it was rich that made the banging) So BMC airfilter only going on at dyno time. Must faster now though.

What size is the main jet for a stage 3 dynojet kit?
