Just got back from a work trip and decided to fill up at my normally cheap local petrol station, £21.74! That was after 130 miles, I think I am going to go back to my 125cc Kymco, even replacing all the bulbs that used to blow (about two per trip to Scotland), it will still be cheaper than using the SV! Plus don't get me started on the boat, over a £1000 to fill up now

He's from Yorkshire, it's got nothing to do with Scotland.

That must have been on fumes, personally I've never managed to get 130 miles from my SV....

It has gone up a lot in the last week or so. Don't know how you've managed that though, fuel is dearer up where you are I suppose, £16 lasts me ~150 miles when I'm behaving.
And anyway, what's an extra twenty quid when you have a boat that drinks so much ![]() |

I rarely get 130 from my SV, and my light does not go solid, just flashes, found out the hard way when I ran it dry and the light was still flashing, had to push it a mile up hill!

The ZZR although the most economical of bikes, is costing a lot to fill up. .much more than 21 quid!!
Its preferable for the short term to fill it up rather than use the Landy for Pete to go to work on....however, this is also taking its toll on poor Petes peggy leg ![]() I wouldn't like to think how much it would cost for the Raptor to fill ![]() Somones comment on FB Quote:
£1.46 for petrol ![]()

At 135.9 per litre I was out the other day and ran the bike till the light came on for a further 20 miles to get home and it cost me £27.86 to fill up.I will add that I had done 256 miles according to the trip meter,21.5lt tank and my normal riding
