Default Curvy low beam doesn't work.

hi, the headlights on my curvey packed up not long ago, they flicker on every now and then but i cannot find whats wrong with them. its not the bulbs and i checked the fuse and its fine, also my horn doesnt work dont know if it would have anything to do with it. also i put a a new battery in today, hasnt made any difference. my full beam works but no low beam, can anyone help? many thanks

Search the forums .
Similar thing only 2 weeks ago.
Was the white wire on that one .

hi , mine did the same 1999 curvie , right in the frount of the bike , right hand side is a plastic yellow connector check that , mine had a wee bit of rust on pins , cleaned them up , bit of wd40 and worked great , def sounds like a lose wire , good luck

That was mine, twas the white wire from the left hand switch gear, metal connector were burnt and rusted, cut them and bypassed the connector, has been fine since. Mine is also a 1999 Curvy.

Exact same issue with mine, clean and lubricate the pins and see if that solves the issues

If you have the same problem as Davyrach did, in that the lights would flick on and off when the steering is moved, then the fault most likely lies in/around the area of the loom and connectors at the steering head and forward.
