Default Well done Infinity Farnborough.

Credit where it's due. My open face helmet that I use on the mighty Epicuro developed a fault whereby the visor mech started exploding if you closed the visor which, it must be said, can be a tad inconvenient.

Went back to Infinity in Farnborough and mentioned I had a problem with my helmet (oh do grow up Fallout!), mentioned I'd had it for over a year but so-far not been able to find the receipt.

After a bit of messing, faffing, head scratching and generally trying stuff we eventually found the right combination of bits from the goody box to get it all sorted again.

Now had the helmet been purchased via an interweb discount emporium I'd now be looking at either a new helmet or purchasing a random selection of bits to get it working.

So shops may cost a bit more from time to time but this is the sort of service you pay a premium for.

Oh and bargain HJC lids in there at the moment if you are looking for one.

The thought ocurrs that you've failed to spot a third alternative to your buy from infinity and pay for service or buy from tinterweb conundrum.

Yep the lids are cheap, hence my new one and spotted Waynel at work today sporting a shiny new HJC helmet, when questioned he confessed a bargain from Infinity in Farnborough.

Little bit.

I'm happy to pay a small premium for the benefits of store service.
