I've got a K3 naked and love it. Far from the most sophisticated bike available but makes you grin.
K3's had a rattle due to some machining error on a bearing somewhere. Most noticeable about 3k but so far as I know none have ever actually failed. Mine also has a clutch rattle. All works fine but sounds a little Ducatti-ish when hot. Had a spare clutch sitting in the shed for the last 5 years and not felt the need to swap it yet. Works well with Michelin PR2's or 3's Very twiddelable suspension so check yours has not been twiddeld inappropriately and just put it all back to normal if it's a bit vague. If you take the airbox cover off it's stupidly loud up front.

I have a K4 that I had adapted to my own ends, like new forks, shock, clip-ons, hard luggage etc
Great bike, can be a hooner or a nice gentle comfortable ride. Is a world away from my R6. If you find a good one and want the extra power and need a bike for long disatances, can't go wrong with a thou' |

Great bike, nothing like the 650 though other than sharing a few parts. Enormous grunt, much better brakes and suspension, not as chuckable as the 650. Cheap entry to the big twin club. Do it.

I have a low mileage one that I might part with for the right price.
