front fork knocking sound - SV650.org

every time i go into a small pot hole there is a sharp knocking sound and a sharp jolt coming from the front forks any ideas

Have you checked that everything is tight?

Maybe a caliper even? Check that all four bolts are holding the calipers on.

My srad gsxr just to do this... Turned out to be a cracked front mud guard. Look for loose fitting plastics or components as Binky points out
