Default Tips for toning exhaust down?

Hi,

I fitted my Danmoto exhaust on the weekend which im happy about but the one thing i am a bit concerned it the noise!!

It is VERY loud compared to the original, i have fitted the removal-able baffle that comes with it but was wondering is the any other way to make it slightly quieter as I've got a track day at brands hatch next Monday and don't want to fail the noise testing. And fitting the original back isn't an option as you have the cut the end can off in order to fit the new exhaust.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

Mason

You'll never get those to make half decent power and not deafen every bugger at the same time.

My opinion, get rid of it and fit a normal can with proper packing inside.

I LOVE the look of it. It fits the bike perfect!
I have the stubby scorpion on mine and noise when riding without baffle is OK. Maybe someone on the forum would like to do a swap with ya

^ this. Buy a tatty aftermarket slip on. Don't worry about scratches etc if its only going on at the track.

Surely if it's too loud for the track, wouldn't it be too loud for road use as well, or are they measured to different standards?
