Evening GM peeps,
I am going to be going to the cemetery at brook wood with my family next weekend and want to stop for a meal. Just wondered if any of you could recommend anywhere to eat nearish to there? Not too fussed about what type of place restaurant or pub as long as the food is good and it's reasonably priced and there will be food service around 2-3pm. Oh and will be child friendly, will have my niece and nephew with us. If I can't find anywhere local to there we might have to go in to Woking so again any recommendations there? Thanks

Sorry, don't often go that way. May be worth asking Winder or DJ as they are closer.

I've not really eaten in/around Brookwood. Mainly in Woking itself. It's a pain to park in though, so unless you are going into Woking I'd avoid it.
you're not to far from Guildford & Frankies & Bennys is easy to park at (http://goo.gl/maps/51cCL) |

Chav-tastic but family friendly, Hungry Horse just up the road. http://www.hungryhorse.co.uk/pubs/gloster-farnborough
Nicer and next to the canal if vaguely nice weather. http://www.chefandbrewer.com/pub/swa...dershot/c2187/ Or just up the road along a very nice road (Pirbright twisties) is the Quays where you can watch folk waterskiing while you eat. Not been there for years though. http://www.pub-explorer.com/surrey/p...ysmytchett.htm Brookwood itself has a few pubs as do the surrounding villages but never used them.
