Default Front headlights failure - k5 pointy

Hi all

Went to switch on my bike today, as have not run it for 2 months and both the front headlights are not working .... sidelights OK and everything else works OK, but no headlights.
Pulled out both main and dip fuses and they appear to be OK with no breaks.
There is no bodged wiring that I can see and the bike is in immaculate condition. The only thing I have done to the headlights (and it worked with them) was to replace them with a pair of Philips Extreme Vision bulbs.

Any ideas? ...........

Do you have pass lights and full beam, or have they gone too?

That's annoying. There was another thread not that long ago about lights not working that sounds similar. The light on the dash sticks out in my mind. I'll see if I can find it and post back.

Strange .... cleaned the connector for the lcd display and disconnected both headlight plugsand the the blue main beam indicator comea on when I switch to main beam. goes out when I plug in either of the headlights. Might be the battery or could it be the led sidelights?

To be honest this is outside my expertise but, what are the connectors to the bulbs like?

If they are gummed up that may be causing a short or something?

What happens if you only connect one bulb at a time?
