ZXR rev counter on minitwin - SV650.org

Can anyone help me?

I'm rebuilding a Mini twin race bike, it came with a Kawasaki ZXR rev counter which was working before I stripped it.

I really should have taken notes of the wiring but it was so messy I didn't bother!

It has three wires
Black
Black/Yellow
Brown

Does anyone have any idea how it would have been wired up?

Can't help you, but have you tried downloading a ZXR manual and checking out the wiring diagram?

rev counters are of no use on bikes with a rev limiter just like a speedo is of no use on a race bike, they are both just added weight and a distraction.
