GSR-X Swingarm on an SV..... - SV650.org

I'd come across a pic of a guy who either photoshopped a R6swingarm on his bike or did a ton of work modding one on his '02 SV.

which got me thinking..... anyone ever try putting one of these bad boys on an SV?

I figure if front end of a '03+ GSXR will bolt straight into a '03+ SV. Maybe the swingarm would work too.... anyone try it? or nearly interested in checking it out? or know where I could get some detailed specs on both swingarms in order to compare....?

Maybe im being dense, but what advantage to hope to gain from this mod?

You can cheaply upgrade the suspension and it makes the world of difference. Perhaps you should try that first? Just a thought

who needs a good reason to do it.... damn if logic and rationality were to play a part in any of this why not just call the whole thing off and leave the bike at the dealership in the first place.

if your gonna put a gsx-r front end on, and the swing arm . . .
why not just buy a GSX-r and put the sv engine in it ?
