front fairing - SV650.org

does anyone know if you can put a 650S front fairing on a 650 without any in depth modifying or if anyone has done this before, any advice would be greatly appreciated. thanks

the mounting is already there on the headstock for the fairing frame and the threaded holes are on the inside of the frame rails , so fitting the fairing isn't going to be your problem, get hold of a fairing frame and the 2 frame mounts and your in business.

However, the instrument cluster could be a problem, if it catches on the fairing (as the faired clocks are fixed on the fairing, unlike the naked).

Also the wiring loom has a couple of multi-plug under the tank , which are carried forward (longer loom) on the faired.

the lighting plugs also won't reach the faired lights and are only a single plug.

indicator wiring would need to be extended as well.

the bars would need to be re-positioned (or fairing modified) as they would hit the fairing.

that's all I can think of for now, but I'm sure there's more.
