Default Sticking Choke?

Hi,
I have a K1, and this morning I after firing it up, I couldnt get the revs below 3k with the choke off. After fiddling with the choke cable (where it connects into the carbs), I got it down to 2k. I tried to reduce tickover by adjusting the idle adjuster, but wouldnt go any lower. Also, when blipping the throttle, it takes a while for the revs to settle down. Is it choke cable, plungers or what Any ideas?
Thanks

Almost certainly, yes.

Try checking the back one first, that's easy to get to. There's one screw where the cable goes into the carb body. Undo, and carefully withdraw the plunger from the carb (there's springs and things in there, so take care not to let the bits fly off!)

Clean and lube as necessary.

If the back one's cruddy, you might want to check the front too, but you really need to take the carbs off to get to that (can be done without but it's tricky).
