Hi, i have a high level ART race can on the sv650s i bought last week, its got an aftermarket restriction in it (washers between the carbs and intake).
The guy i bought it off said no adjusting or rejetting/needle shiming had been done to the carbs at all, i was just wondering if it would be worth takign a look at, the bike feels really stodgy, and is really loud, its basically all noise no go. I was mulling over it last night and wondering if putting back on a stock can might make the bike a bit more usable and even improve the performance a bit. Any care to chime in with opinions? |

I doubt it, have u tried it without yet, the restrcited bike doesnt feel great as stock either.
The restrcition is on the amount of fuel/air mixture is allowed in, so you'll still have the same amount of power no matter what you put on it, be it a full system with a race filter, or completely stock. As is my understanding of course ![]() |
