Erm, the workshop manual statest the following for a fuel injected bike:

Oil Change: 2300ml
Oil & Filter Change: 2700ml
Overhaul: 3100ml

For a carb'd bike you'd need:

Oil Change: 2300ml
Oil & Filter Change: 2400ml
Overhaul: 2700ml

yea ive seen thats why i asked didnt know if that was for somethin else after i got charged 4 a different figure

Yup. It means you effectiively take every bit of the engine apart and there is no oil left in the system afterwards.
