All this rain's tipped them over the edge from nice leather gloves to smelly horrible gloves... which in turn makes my hands stink too..
![]() Short of attacking them with Febreez, anyone got any good de-stink measures? ![]() |

Hand wash them - ha ha!
no seriously, basin of hot water, with some persil, stick the gloves on and wring your hands. Drain filthy water and then rinse with cold. |

I regularly hang out my motorcycle gear in the garden (but not in
this weather, of course). This is the only solution I have found. Never had problems with gloves but my pants sometimes have to spend several days in the garden at a time. With gloves I have another, quite bizarre problem. My reserve pair is from Lidl (£4.99). When these reserve gloves get really wet the paint starts coming off and my hands become dark blue. Almost impossible to wash off later. Gives me the appearance of a well decomposed corpse. |

Stick 'em in the freezer overnight - this kills the bugs that make the smells. Obviously, let 'em thaw out again before wearing 'em ![]() HTH. |
