On the lead up to the main race at Brno today, the excellent Spanish coverage did a piece with one of Toni Elias's mechanics from the Fortuna Yamaha team.
The section was a little looksy at the controls and clocks or digi read out for his bike.

The most trick thing it had was a button that can see you change fuel maps when on the move! It has 4 maps loaded for different conditions. I thought very neat!

Maybe they should show Toni how to turn off the pit lane speed restrictor when he is out on the track!

Did you know that the NSR250 MC28 had a swipecard ignition system. It came with two cards, one for the dry and one for wet days.

I really wanted one before the SV came along. Maybe one day when I have cash to burn.....

Great race again. What happened to Sete? Steve Parrish thought it was out of fuel, how embarrasing for the big H.

Haffis I did not know that about the Aprilia, again very trick!

It did give every indication that Sete did indeed run out of gas.Although such are the politics......far better to claim a fuel problem rather than a mechanical/Honda problem.In this way some poor mechanic gets his ass kicked rather than Honda's reputation getting hammered?
