Default Fitting a full exhaust system

Hi all, just bought an Arata full system and am in two minds about fitting it myself. Has anyone fitted a full system to their bike? How do you get to the rear cylinder? If the engine has to come out then i'll leave it to a dealer but if it,s just a case of removing the tank and a few hoses i'll give it a go. Aratas distributor says i don't need a power commander if i keep the baffle in but i'm gonna get one anyway, just for piece of mind and better throttle response. Also, anyone got any tips on air filters? Should i leave the stock one in or upgrade it but it gets dyno'd?

Curvy or pointy model?

I know nothing about the curvy, but on pointy there is no need to remove engine!

It's pretty easy to be honest, providing you can get an allen key that will fit the rear exhaust header bolts. In the end I took an allen key and sawed off the bent end so that it would fit into a socket. That and some extenders and a universal joint and rachet and it was simple.

If the previous system is old, you may have some trouble detaching the old pipes from each other. I found that several repeated soaks of wd40 in all the joins over the period of a few days sorted that out.

Fitting the new system is easy as it's just a case of pulling a few springs, and getting the can strap right. Again some wd40 will make positioning the tubes easier.
