FIAMM i think are nicer, twin high/low fitted behind the fairing on the radiator mounts.. The magnum has a higher notes.

as what TSM says.

to be honest, my standard CBR horn wasnt much different on volume to the magnum horn, just sounds more like an airhorn than a bike horn.

and its quite a bit bigger too.

but for 9.99 cant really complain.

What ^^^^ Say, however, it not a fact of just replacing. You will need to put a relay in to activate the horns. If you go to the main sv650.org site and aheva look in the how to sections, its all in there. Twin FIAMMS are great fun, very loud and do the job.

I used the twin FIAMM snail-horns... Dead easy to fit on a carbed S, I just bolted them to the radiator, chopped out the old horn, put the relay in the hole, wired the horns into my "aftermarket stuff" loom, sorted. I'm vaguely considering fitting another couple somewhere, just for a laugh. They're not the loudest but they're so dissonant that they really get people's attention.

They do the horns in diffrent bits or kits. I did not see the kit and bought the horns seperate and cost a bit more. Buy the kit and i think it comes with all the wiring & relay needed to fit to the bike.

Jim, either get the Ring fitting kit, or buy 2 rolls of decent-rated cable and a terminal crimp set. (kit's cheaper but the cables are all funny lengths, while the crimp kit is a useful thing to own in general, and will save you a lot of solvering and monkeying about.

I'll see if I can get some pics, the fairings are off mine just now so I should be able to get a nice shot.
