Default i'm back, but not only temporary

Taken the winter away from riding. A few too many accidents around here (not me) made me sit up and think about a few things...namely my 3 year old daughter.

I can't believe I'm going to do it after such a short riding time (little over 1 year) but I'm going to knock riding on the head for a few years.

I really don't want to do it but I hate the feeling I get when I think of the "what if?" scenario.

So, pretty soon there'll be a yellow SV curvy up for sale. Recently serviced, new tyres. Think the rear wheel bearing needs looking at as it was making a noise last time I rode it.

got a big scar on the nose from sliding the bike into my front gate. New indicators to replace the one i smashed at the same time. Not too bad condition for age.
11k miles (i think)

No tax and MOT, SORNED for winter.

any ideas roughly this would be worth?

i've missed this place

How old is the bike.

Just because you don't ride doesn't mean you have to keep away you know, good luck & best wishes with whatever you decide.

Gra,

I got £2,200 from the insurance T on a 99 with 29k on the clock.

I reckon I was lucky. I reckon private sale £1,700.

Eleven quid, maybe twelve.

I'll give you fifteen for it 'cos I like you.

Sorry to see you're going, but with young kids I fully understand. But don't worry you'll soon be middle-aged, sporting a paunch, and most of the hair on your head will have said adios - you can then return to the fold astride some uber-machine of the future knowing that when you're dressed in black leather and your dark visor's down all the young totty think you're cool and desirable (it's just when you stop and remove your lid the truth gets out ).
