Default Do i have to rejet or shim

I dont know if this has been discussed im sure it has but can anyone tell me if i have to rejet or anything else after attaching a slip on pipe, Im thinking of yoshi or micron

Simple answer is NO. It is not necessary. However, it is entirely posible that it will run even better with a map or jet.

Jets are for carbs (curvy SV) map is for fuel injection (pointy SV)

Have to ask the question, where in the world are you?

Shimming & jetting seems to be more popular for the US guys.

I am from Australia I have an 02 SV650 and i love it it does everything a bike needs to do, All the bike shops i called over here could not give me simple answer as to if i had to rejet or not so i thought i talk to people with knowlege, Thanks :P :P
