I used to leave me old rusty GPz without any locks.

Always there when I came back

no, fortunately!

there's been 2 people in the last 2 days who've had bikes nicked which weren't chained up!

Problem is one of the bikes was just lifted into a van, no matter how many locks I put on the SV if there isn't anything to lock it too they will just pick it up and take it away if they want it. Not to say that you shouldn't bother locking it.

If they really want it they will nab it. So let's make it as difficult as we can eh. I have nowhere to lock my bike to and it is kept outside my flat. So what I do is surround it by wheeliebins and stacks of empty cans, if they want to nick it I'll hear it. Maybe I should just invest in an alarm but my cat loves to sleep on my bike. Bless.
