Default To stainless steel or not to stainless steel......

In my never ending quest to get rid of as many rusty nuts, bolts and washers as possible, I'm unsure of which parts to change and not to change.
At the moment, I'm pondering the disc mounting bolts and sprocket mounting bolts due to the forces involved in both.

I also want to do something about the rusting axles but can't afford titanium ones, can i get them plated in some way with something apart from rust? and can i get some stainless steel chain adjuster plates?

You could chuck away the axles and get better condition standard ones, that's what I did.

You could get your bits Nickel plated (bike bits, not YOUR bits, that would be painful,I'd imagine)
